Your company must spend a percentage of payroll on skills development to meet its B-BBEE scorecard. We convert that obligation into internationally certified digital skills for unemployed youth in Mpumalanga — and hand you an evidence pack your verification agency can audit.
Sponsoring skills development isn't charity — it is one of the most incentivised investments in South African B-BBEE and tax law
Maximise your scorecard with skills development and disability spend.
Discretionary grant recovery on accredited learnerships, available once our QCTO accreditation is granted.
Section 12H deductions apply to SETA-registered learnership agreements. Available on our accredited programme once registered.
Employment Tax Incentive savings for qualifying youth employees.
Illustrative modelling for an accredited learnership — see the notice below
Please read before relying on these figures. This calculator models a QCTO-accredited learnership. Skhatsi-Itstime’s QCTO accreditation application (skills programme SP-240201) is currently in progress and not yet granted. MICT SETA discretionary grant recovery and Section 12H tax deductions both require an accredited provider and a SETA-registered learnership agreement, and are therefore not available through Skhatsi-Itstime at this time. The figures below are illustrative of what an accredited learnership would offer once accreditation is granted. Confirm all tax treatment with your own tax advisor before committing budget. Training we can deliver today is set out under Ways To Partner.
On these assumptions, grants and tax benefits would offset the full programme cost.
*Illustration only. Actual values depend on QCTO accreditation, SETA registration and approval, and SARS assessment. Section 12H allowance amounts are set by the Income Tax Act and must be confirmed with your tax advisor.
| Programme cost per learner (12-month accredited learnership incl. stipend) | R85 000 |
| MICT SETA discretionary grant recovery (up to 60% of cost) | R51 000 |
| Section 12H tax saving (R160 000 allowance × 27% company tax, NQF 1–6) | R43 200 |
| Estimated savings per learner | R94 200 |
